The CZ 457 Varmint is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 WMR (Winchester Magnum Rimfire). This configuration combines the CZ 457 action with a 20-inch heavy-profile Varmint barrel, traditional wood stock, and a 5-round detachable magazine.
The heavier Varmint barrel and substantial stock give the rifle a stable, traditional sporting configuration suitable for recreational and target shooting. The CZ 457 platform also incorporates an adjustable trigger system, manual safety and receiver provision for compatible scope mounts.
