W.A FIREARM QUICK LICENCING GUIDE

1. Purchase a firearm and recieve the firearm serviceability. Example

2. Complete a firearms safety awareness test in store. Download PDF W.A Firearms safety booklet

3. Obtain a farming property letter or firearm club support letter. Download PDF Property Letter (LSF11)

4. Fill out police online application form using your details and serviceability certificate. Link to Online application form

5. Attach the following documents to your completed printed online application;

1. Firearms Safety Awareness Certificate

2. Firearms Serviceability Certificate

3. Property or Club support letter

6. Take your application and associated documents with 100 points of ID to the post office to submit for your firearms licence.

NOTE: For adding additional firearms to an existing category of licence you will only need steps 1,3,4,5.
